Just came back from Monterey weekend and the Concorso Italiano.
We did a lot of promoting with the organizers and it worked out past our expectation with a full spread of the winning Lancia from last years Pebble Beach
Concours D Elegance.
That was followed by the write-up we supplied and in the club section was the American Lancia Club info.
With that and the "large" field of Lancia cars on the field we are happy to conclude that the Lancia cars are making a comeback.
We had 17 cars registered and a spread from Steve's 1924 Lambda to a 1992 Delta Integrale.
A special honor was given to the Aurelia Spider America with not only best in class but also Best Paint in show!!
The cars displayed were:
1924 Lambda, 1954 Aurelia B20S,1955 Aurelia B24S Spider America,1961 Appia S Zagato, 1962 Appia GTE Zagato, 1963 Flavia Vignale, 1965 Flavia, 1966 Fulvia, 1967 Fulvia sport 1.3 Zagato, 1973 Fulvia 1.3S, 1974 Stratos, 1974 Fulvia, 1977 Scorpion and 1992 Delta Integrale
Registered but missing were:
1960 Appia, 1977 Scorpion VX and 1990 Delta Integrale.
The group seemed to have a great time even though the weather was both windy and sometimes rather chilly.
